Static stretches against a wall or a stair edge rarely hold the angle you actually need — your heel slides, your weight shifts, and you end up guessing whether you hit the calf, the arch, or the Achilles. The Adjustable Foot & Calf Stretcher Board locks your foot at a fixed, repeatable angle on a non-slip platform, so the same stretch lands the same way every time you step on it.

A stretch that shifts isn't a stretch that works.

Leaning your foot against a wall, a step, or a rolled-up towel changes angle every time you move — which means your calf, Achilles, and arch never get the same stretch twice. For tight calves after a run, a stiff Achilles from standing all day, or a foot that's been favoring one side, an angle that keeps moving is an angle you can't trust.

The Stretcher Board fixes the angle before you start. An indexed adjustment locks the platform in place, and a non-slip pad keeps your foot from creeping mid-stretch. You set the position once, and it stays there until you decide to change it.

Seven parts, one steady platform

How it works

01
Place the board on a flat, stable surface.
02
Select your angle using the indexed adjustment.
03
Position one or both feet on the non-slip pad.
04
Shift your weight gently into the stretch and hold.
05
Adjust to a new angle as your flexibility improves.
TIP
Start at the lowest angle and only move up once a stretch feels comfortable, not strained — jumping straight to a steep angle is the most common way people overdo it.

WHY WE BUILT THIS

Built with a physical therapist who was done improvising with borrowed equipment.

American Hero Health's product team includes a physical therapist who spent years treating tight calves and Achilles strain in weekend runners, and in retail and warehouse workers who spend their shifts on their feet. The tool she reached for most — a slant board borrowed from a gym — had one fixed angle and never stayed put on a hardwood floor.

So we built a version meant to live in a closet at home: a locked base instead of a board that slides, an indexed angle system instead of a single fixed slant, and a foot pad wide enough for a real stretch instead of a product-photo pose. Once we found what actually held the angle, there wasn't much left to change.

WHAT PEOPLE ASK BEFORE BUYING

Can I use this if I have plantar fasciitis, Achilles tightness, or a recent foot injury?

Many people use adjustable slant boards as part of a foot and calf stretching routine, but if you have an existing injury, plantar fasciitis, or recent surgery, check with a physical therapist or doctor before starting a new stretch angle. Start at the lowest setting and stop if you feel sharp pain.

Do I need shoes, or can I use it barefoot?

The board works either way. Barefoot or in socks, the foot pad's texture is designed to keep contact secure; in shoes, make sure the sole isn't overly slick before leaning into a deeper stretch.

How much weight does it support?

The board is rated to support over 350 lbs of standing load, which covers full-weight stretching and gentle rocking exercises for most adult users.

Will it slide on hardwood or tile floors?

The base ring is built to grip most hard flooring, but as with any stretching equipment, test your footing at a low angle first and avoid using it on loose rugs or freshly polished floors.

Every stretch, the same steady angle.

One board, built to hold the position you choose.
